Was Jesus A Communist

Do you believe that the Bible and life of Jesus pointed
towards communism? Let's discuss that.
Channel Update
Before I get into the content of the discussion, I'll
start off by mentioning this. I'm going to be posting a
video a day. All of the daily videos will be short, and
more than likely be a cut from the main, weekly podcast.
The weekly podcast is the main focus of this channel, but
since we discuss so many topics I decided to start
splitting it up and re-posting it in pieces. This means
that a lot of our videos will have a single focus which
will make it more comfortable on our viewers since in the
main podcast we tend to bounce around. These videos will
also be shorter than the main podcast, which is good for
people who can't make the live stream or can't sit for an
hour and a half watching a single youtube video.
Prompt
Now, I'll get into the meat of this video. During the
main podcast, Danny and I discussed whether or not Jesus
was a communist. I prompted the discussion by referencing
a debate I saw between Steven Crowder and Sargon of
Akkad, which I'll link here:

Jesus and Communism
Danny thought that Jesus could have been a communist
because Jesus taught to give up wealth, give to the poor,
and share love. I argued that he did, but not on a level
of government. It boiled down to the efficiency of
different ways to be loving, individually or through the
government.
