More than 19 million people from all over the world |
|
entered the U.S government s Green Card lottery for a |
|
chance to move to America in 2017. |
|
|
|
Nearly 84,000 of them won the right to apply for a visa. |
|
But there are only 50,000 spots available in total. And |
|
this month, the State Department announced that all those |
|
spots are now full. |
|
|
|
Thousands of lottery winners did get good news. But some |
|
didn t make the cut because of President Trump s travel |
|
ban. And now, they re watching their chance at a new life |
|
slip away. |
