These three lectures were delivered in New York at the |
|
Pierpont Morgan Library in April and May 1942 by the |
|
noted art historian Dr. Sirarpie Der Nersessian. They |
|
were subsequently published in the book Armenia and the |
|
Byzantine Empire[1] (1945), with two additional articles |
|
describing the historical background. The present edition |
|
includes: Armenian Architecture (III), Sculpture (IV), |
|
Painting (V), plates and bibliography. Zipped HTML files, |
|
prepared and uploaded by Robert Bedrosian. |
