The new generations and the alternative culture in
Bulgaria 21 years after Save Ruse - the first and only
Bulgarian ekorokfestival: Where to? In memory of Dimitar
Voev (1965 - 1992)
free discussion
Could we possibly recognize the new generation of the
80ies of XX century as a prototype of alternative culture
and new social movements in Bulgaria related to values
such as social justice, ecology, informality and overall
cultural change in the context of a consecutive
commemoration of creativity, personality and work of
Dimitar Voev? Debating on these issues we can hear the
views of the old and the new "next generation": people
like Vassil Gurov ("Review"), Georgi Marinov (Votsek and
Chugra), Petar Milanov (Foundation Dimitar Voev - New
Generation), Galina Lacheva (Festival New Life Street)
and others. One day before the anticipated end of the
world we recall for Save Ruse - the first and only
Bulgarian ekorokfestival initiated by Dimitar Voev 21
years ago.
Moderator: Peter Kanev (Department of Anthropological
Studies at The Institute for the Study of Societies and
Knowledge at BAS, Shtastlivetza Sofia Civil Society)
In Bulgarian.
