The class of 1971 at North Shore High School held a class |
|
reunion in the summer of 2016. |
|
Your humble DJ was asked to put some music together for |
|
the event, as there was going to be a DJ there. The DJ |
|
had been alerted that one of the attendees to the soiree |
|
would provide a couple of homemade CDs for everyone's |
|
enjoyment. |
|
|
|
He played about four songs from the disks, then proceeded |
|
to make selections such as "Paradise By The Dashboard |
|
Light" (popular circa 1977; a great song to play if |
|
you're a DJ and want to grab a quick smoke but certainly |
|
nothing to do with the years 1967-71). He was dreadful as |
|
well as dim. I'd done his homework for him AND brought |
|
2.5 hours of great music that he didn't have to program. |
|
He possibly didn't realize that; he obviously didn't care. |
|
|
|
No matter. Here, for enjoyment, is the 2.5 hours I put |
|
together for the class reunion of the Class of '71 at |
|
North Shore High School (plus some other favourites). I |
|
hope you like it! |
