A paper has just been published in the peer-reviewed
literature (Journal of Mathematical Biology)[1] arguing
that R. A. Fisher's mathematical proof of evolution's
inevitability relied on unrealistic assumptions. When
more realistic assumptions are used evolution is replaced
by degeneration.
