Gerald Massey was an eminent and independent |
|
Egyptologist. He has researched and documented many |
|
features and symbols of Egyptian religion and myth in |
|
comparison with Christian symbols and stories. |
|
|
|
He was important to Alvin Boyd Kuhn who took Massey's |
|
work one step further as portrayed in "The Pagan Christ" |
|
from Tom Harpur. It seems that christianity is to a large |
|
extent a copy of pagan religion and myth. If this work |
|
serves to give some understanding of the original Gnostic |
|
themes in Christianity then it will have done its work! |
|
