The Department of Defense Fiscal Year (FY) 2006 |

Performance and Accountability Report (PAR) provides the |

President, Congress, other Federal departments and |
|
agencies, and the American public with an overview of the |
|
Department's financial condition. Essentially, the PAR is |
|
equivalent to the private sector's annual report to their |
|
stockholders and includes an assessment of program |
|
performance. |
