Through interviews with drivers and instructors of the |
|
YPR-765, an inventory was made of view problems with |
|
driving under armour. Problems with attitude and |
|
operational comfort were discussed too. An additional |
|
field experiment demonstrated that longitudinal and |
|
transversal vehicle positioning by beginning drivers was |
|
worse if executed under armour. Suggestions for |
|
improvement are given. The problems signalled appear to |
|
conflict with the operational demands put on an Infantry |
|
Battle Vehicle (IBV). Therefore, it is recommended to |
|
take the improvements suggested into consideration while |
|
drafting the program of demands of the IBV. |
