Forty four tests were conducted to demonstrate the
structural integrity, functional capability, and
stability of the electronics under impact conditions of
up to -40 Gx and +14 Gy. The CREST ejection seat
configuration was used along with two versions of the
CREST X-Band harness. Test results indicated the
Anthropomorphic Manikins are structurally sound but prone
to circuit board and wiring failures. The capability of
the ADAMs to reproduce specific dynamic response of human
subjects taken as a whole was good, but the accuracy of
the instrumentation was not able to provide measurements
consistently within five percent of the true value.
