The assignment of non-normal duty (on-call) hour duties |
|
to physicians is often a source of dissatisfaction and |
|
conflict among the physicians. Without a comprehensive |
|
policy on non-normal duty hour duties, there exists |
|
potential for staff dissatisfaction. This paper studies |
|
the issue of non-normal duty hour duties at an Army |
|
Community Hospital and develops a methodology for |
|
determining an equitable method of allocating non-normal |
|
duty hour assignments among physicians. |
