Based upon a new approach to cavity resonator design, an |
|
atomic hydrogen maser frequency standard is being |
|
developed which is smaller and lighter by a factor of |
|
eight from previous hydrogen maser designs, but exhibits |
|
improved performance over other types of atomic standard. |
|
An operational prototype device is presently in the final |
|
