Results of marine exposure at Key West, Fla., of small |
|
wood panels treated with a variety of preservatives and |
|
candidate preservatives are tabulated. Materials tested |
|
include creosotes, modified creosotes, waterborne salts, |
|
dual treatments and chemically modified wood. Many |
|
treated panels remain free of marine borer attack after 9 |
|
years' exposure. |
