A HEMAC (Hybrid Electromagnetic Antenna Coupler) is used |

to couple r- f energy in the medium frequency range (400- |

425 kHz) to an oak tree that is used as an antenna. A |
|
discussion of the measured impedance data and the effects |
|
of the nearby terrain are presented along with the |
|
conclusions reached. |
