A HEMAC (Hybrid Electromagnetic Antenna Coupler) is used
to couple r- f energy in the medium frequency range (400-
425 kHz) to an oak tree that is used as an antenna. A
discussion of the measured impedance data and the effects
of the nearby terrain are presented along with the
conclusions reached.
