The Myspace Metal And Alternative Archive Project
Visit https://archive.org/details/MyspaceScene[1] for
more details on our mission.
This is a release by Amasic. This
band was a solo project until about 2013 when other
members were added
for live performances.
Genre: Pop Rock / Alternative Rock
Country: Canada (QC)
Archived Myspace/URL: https://myspace.com/amasic

What this project aims to do is
create an archive for any and every shred of Metal and
Alternative
style music from between 2001 and 2012 that can be
recovered. This time
frame was considered to be the "wild west" for metal and
alternative
bands, with many gaining national fandom just by
uploading a single 3 or
4 song demo to the website. We are searching every nook
and cranny of
the internet to find these pieces of musical art that
would otherwise be
forever lost to time and the black hole the Internet has
become. No
song too short, and no artist too obscure.
Things we are not archiving: Anything
that belongs to a still active Record Label, or that are
still actively
for sale in their original un-altered format (via
Bandcamp, iTunes,
Amazon Music, or any other digital platform). We do not
wish to create
any issues where copyright may be at play.
If you have
anything to contribute, or wish for something to be
removed, please get
in contact with the creator of this project at
[email protected]
