New Testament in Hebrew. This is section 5. (all sections |
|
available here). |

This is the version in Hebrew of 1898. This translation |
|
was the work of Salkinson and C.D. Ginsburg. It is based |
|
on the standard historic text of the Early Church. Dr. |
|
Salkinson began the translation but died in 1883. The |
|
work was continued and completed by Dr. C.D. Ginsburg, |
|
who published it in Vienna in 1886. It is certainly |
|
better and more accurate than most modern versions |
|
(Either in Greek, English or Hebrew ). C.D Ginsburg is |
|
recognized as one of the world-renoun scholars on the |
|
subject of Jewish texts, and particularly expert |
|
concerning the Old Testament. His work called |
|
Introduction to the Masoretico-critical edition of the |
|
Hebrew Bible is well known (although he wrote other books |
|
also). |

The reason for separating the New Testament into a few |
|
downloads was due to the higher resolution of the scans. |
|
Non-latin alphabets require high-quality higher |
|
resolution images. |
