                             Barbecue Sauce

  1      c             Onion -- finely chopped
    3/4  c             Celery -- finely chopped
  3      tb            Butter
  6      tb            Sugar
  3      tb            Worcestershire sauce
  6      tb            Wine vinegar
    3/4  c             Lemon juice
  3      c             Ketchup
  3      ts            Dry mustard
  2      ts            Liquid barbecue smokeĀ®
                       Salt and pepper

In skillet, saute onion and celery in butter. Add to Crock-Pot with
remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on
High for 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally.

Yield: 5 Cups

Note: This sauce can be doubled, if desired; it freezes well, too.
