2 1/2 c Milk
4 tb Butter
2 1/2 tb Corn starch; dissolved in
Water; cold
Salt
1/2 ts Grated nutmeg
Heat 2-1/2 cup milk and 4 tb butter in a saucepan. When almost
boiling, lower heat. Add 1/2 ts grated nutmeg. Stir in 2-1/2 tb corn
starch dissolved in a little cold water. Stir constantly until corn
starch thickens the milk. Add salt.
