MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Puffed Cereal Granola
Categories: Granola
     Yield: 10 Cups

    13 c  Unsweetened puffed rice,
          - wheat, and/or millet
          - (6 oz)
     1 c  Unsalted sunflower seeds
     2 c  Unsalted peanuts; cashews,
          - and/or chopped walnuts
   1/2 c  Honey
   1/2 c  Water
   1/2 c  Salad oil
     2 tb Vanilla
     2 c  Dried apples (6 oz);
          - chopped
   1/2 c  Raisins, chopped dates,
          - figs, or prunes

 In a large bowl, combine the puffed cereal, sunflower seeds, and
 nuts. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, water, salad oil, and
 vanilla; pour over cereal mixture and stir to coat evenly. Spread in
 two 10x15" jelly roll pans. Bake, uncovered, in a 325°F oven,
 stirring occasionally, for about 45 minutes, or until golden. Cool
 completely, then stir in apples and raisins.
