     Title: Twix Cookies
Categories: Candy, Cookies, Copycat
     Yield: 1 Batch

     1 c  Unsalted butter; softened
   1/2 c  Powdered sugar
     2 c  All-purpose flour
   1/4 ts Salt
     1 ts Vanilla extract
    12 oz Caramel candies; unwrapped
     2 tb Heavy cream
     2 c  Milk chocolate chips

These Twix Cookies are the ultimate treat, combining buttery
shortbread, gooey caramel, and a rich chocolate layer. Every bite
gives you the classic Twix bar taste in a soft, homemade cookie form!

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment
 paper.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and
 fluffy. Add vanilla extract.

Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms. Roll dough
into 1" balls and place them on the baking sheet.

Press each ball down slightly with the bottom of a glass to flatten.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden. Let them cool
 completely.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramel candies with heavy cream in
30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

Spoon caramel over each cooled cookie and let it set.

Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle or dip each cookie into the
chocolate. Let it set before serving.
