MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Copycat KFC Fried Chicken

     Yield: 6 servings

     2 c  A-P flour
     4 tb Paprika
     3 tb White pepper
     2 tb Garlic salt
     1 tb Celery salt
     1 tb Ground ginger
     1 tb Ground mustard
     1 tb Pepper
     2 ts Salt
 1 1/2 ts Dried basil
 1 1/2 ts Dried thyme
     1 ts Dried oregano
   1/2 ts Monosodium glutamate
     2 lg Eggs
   2/3 c  Milk
   1/4 c  Lemon juice
     3 lb Broiler/fryer chicken;
          - cut up
          Oil; for deep-fat frying

 In a shallow bowl, mix the first 13 ingredients. In a separate
 shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and lemon juice until blended. Dip
 chicken in flour mixture to coat all sides; shake off excess. Dip
 in egg mixture, then again in flour mixture.

 In an electric skillet, deep fryer or Dutch oven, heat oil to
 350°F/175°C. Fry chicken, a few pieces at a time, until skin is
 golden brown and juices run clear, 6-10 minutes on each side. Drain
 on paper towels.
