     Yield: 8 Servings

          Tomato sauce recipe
    12    Lasagna noodles
     1 lb Mozzarella cheese; shredded
   1/2 c  Parmesan or romano cheese;
          -grated

MMMMM--------------------------FILLING-------------------------------
     2 c  Ricotta or cottage cheese
     2    Eggs; beraten
          Salt & pepper
   1/2 lb Raw spinach; chopped;
          -(optional)
     1 ds Nutmeg; (optional)
     2 tb Wheat germ; (optional)

 Preparation time: 1 1/2 hours

 Prepare tomato sauce from recipe.

 Half-cook lasagna noodles, drain, and rinse in cold water.

 Prepare filling. Prepare cheese. Have ready a 9x13" pan.

 Spread a little sauce over bottom of pan.

 Cover with a layer of noodles (1/3 of the moodles).

 Put a blotch of filling here and there. Use 1/2 the filling.

 Sauce (1/3 the remaining sauce).

 1/2 the Mozzarella hither and thither.

 Another 1/3 the noodles.

 Remaining filling, followed by:

 Sauce (another 1/3), which gets covered by:

 Remaining mozzarella.

 Every last noodle.

 Ultimate dosage of sauce.

 The parmesan or romano.

 Bake 45 minutes (uncover for last 10) at 375°F.

 Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
