Sauce:
6 tb Brown sugar
1/2 c Catsup
1/4 ts Nutmeg
2 ts Dry mustard
Meatballs:
1 lb Ground beef
1 lb Ground pork
2 Eggs
1-1/2 c Seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepper
2 tb Onion -- chopped fine
Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl; set aside.
Combine the meats, eggs, crumbs, salt, pepper, onion, and half of
sauce; mix gently until all ingredients are blended. Shape mixture
into 12 balls and place in 3" deep muffin pans. Make a small
indentation in each ball and fill with remaining sauce. Bake at 400°F
for 30 minutes.
