MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Sweet Pineapple Glazed Ham
Categories: Five, Pork, Fruits
     Yield: 20 Servings

     8 oz (2 jars) maraschino cherries
    16 oz Can pineapple rings
    10 lb Whole ham
     2 c  Vernors ginger soda; divided

 Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C.

 Stick pineapple rings and maraschino cherries all around
 the outside of the ham with toothpicks; place into a
 roasting pan. Pour 1 cup ginger soda over the ham. Cover
 ham with aluminum foil.

 Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Pour remaining ginger
 ale over the ham, cover again with foil, and bake another
 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake about 30 minutes more.
