MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: International Potato Cake

     Yield: 12 Servings

   1/4 c  Seasoned bread crumbs
     3 lb Potatoes; peeled, diced
   1/2 c  Heavy whipping cream
   1/4 c  Butter; in cubes
     3 lg Eggs; beaten
     1 ts Greek seasoning
   1/4 ts Garlic salt
   1/4 ts Lemon-pepper seasoning
   1/4 lb Fontina cheese; thin sliced
   1/4 lb Hard salami; thin sliced,
          - coarse chopped

   1/3 c  Parmesan cheese; grated
     1 tb Seasoned bread crumbs
     1 tb Butter; melted

 Sprinkle bread crumbs onto the bottom of a greased 9" springform
 pan; set aside.

 Place potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to
 a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until
 tender. Drain; transfer to a large bowl. Mash potatoes with cream,
 butter, eggs and seasonings.

 Set oven @ 350°F/175°C.

 Spoon half the potatoes into prepared pan. Layer with cheese and
 salami; top with remaining potatoes. Combine topping ingredients;
 spoon over potatoes.

 Cover and bake 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 5 to 10 minutes longer
 or until topping is golden brown. Cool on a wire rack 10 minutes.
 Carefully run a knife around edge of pan to loosen; remove side of
 pan. Serve warm.
