MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Christmas Fruit Salad

     Yield: 14 servings

     3    Egg yolks; beaten
     3 tb Water
     3 tb White vinegar
   1/2 ts Salt
     2 c  Heavy whipping cream;
          - whipped
     3 c  Miniature marshmallows
     2 c  Green grapes; halved
    20 oz Can pineapple tidbits;
          - drained
    11 oz Can mandarin oranges;
          - drained
    10 oz Jar red maraschino cherries;
          - drained, sliced
     1 c  Pecans; chopped
     3 tb Lemon juice

 In a large saucepan, combine egg yolks, water, vinegar
 and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly,
 until mixture thickens and reaches 160°F. Remove from the
 heat and cool; fold in whipped cream.

 In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Add
 dressing; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 24
 hours. If desired, top with additional marshmallows,
 grapes and cherries just before serving.
