MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Cajun Cabbage

     Yield: 8 servings

     1 lb Ground beef
     1 md Bell pepper; chopped
     1 md Onion; chopped
     2 cl Garlic; minced
    10 oz Can Ro*Tel tomatoes w/green
          - chilies
     8 oz Can tomato sauce
   1/2 c  Uncooked long grain rice
     1 ts Salt
   1/2 ts Dried basil
   1/2 ts Dried oregano
   1/2 ts (ea) white, black and
          - cayenne pepper
     6 dr Hot pepper sauce
     1 sm Head cabbage; chopped
     1 c  Shredded Colby cheese
          Fresh basil; opt

 In a skillet, cook the beef, green pepper, onion and
 garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink;
 drain. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, rice, seasonings
 and hot sauce.

 Spread into an ungreased 13x9" baking dish. Top with
 the cabbage and cheese. Cover and bake @ 350°F/175°C for
 65-75 minutes or until the rice is tender. If desired,
 garnish with basil.
