4 md Persimmons -- peeled, sliced
1 lg Asian pears -- peeled, sliced
1/2 c Tangerine juice
2 tb Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Fresh ginger root -- grated
Topping:
4 tb Unsalted butter
2 tb Brown sugar -- packed
1/2 ts Tangerine peel -- grated
1/8 ts Salt
2 tb Flour
1/4 ts Ground cardamom
1/2 c Rolled oats
Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine fruit, juice, salt, and ginger in an
8" square baking pan. In a separate bowl combine topping ingredients.
Sprinkle topping over fruit and bake for 40 minutes.
