1/2 c Sugar
1/4 c Brown sugar
3/8 c Corn syrup
1/2 c Raisins -- chopped
Salt -- a few grains
3/8 c Evaporated milk
2 tb Butter
1 ts Any flavoring
1/2 c Nuts -- chopped
1/2 c Coconut
Combine sugar, syrup, milk, and salt. Boil to hard ball stage (265
to 270°F). Add butter, flavoring, chopped nuts, raisins, and
coconut. Pour into well-buttered pan. When cold cut into long
narrow bars.
