                               Payday Bar

  2      cups          white sugar
  1      cup           brown sugar
  1      cup           White Karo Syrup
  1      cup           heavy cream
    1/3  cup           butter
  1      cup           chopped nuts

Cook ingredients (except peanuts) to 245°.  Remove from heat, add peanuts and
beat as long as you possibly can. It is very stiff-you might need
reinforcements! I have found that the longer you beat it the creamier it is.
Put on a board and knead and shape into rolls. It might be a little soft and
not want to hold its shape but it should be fine by the next day. If you want
you can roll in chopped salted peanuts for a giant Payday bar. Wrap in plastic
wrap.
