6 Tart apples -- up to 7
1 tb Butter
1 pn Salt
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Nutmeg
12 Marshmallows
Line a pie pan with plain pastry. Fill with pared and sliced apples.
Combine sugar, salt, and nutmeg.
Sprinkle over apples. Dot with butter. Bake in hot oven (425°F) until
crust is brown and the apples tender. Remove from oven. Cover the
apples with halved marshmallows. Brown in slow oven (325°F).
