     Title: Maple-Walnut Pie

     Yield: 6 Servings

     1    Unbaked pie shell; (9")
     4 lg Eggs
   3/4 c  Real maple syrup
          Fresh lemon juice; a few
          -squirts
     1 ds Cinnamon
   1/4 c  Butter; melted
   1/2 ts Vanilla
   1/2 ts Salt
     2 c  Walnut pieces

 Pre-heat oven to 375°F.

 Preparation time: 45 minutes, not including crust making

 Begin pastry for crust several hours earlier.

 Beat together everything except walnuts. You can use a blender, wire
 whisk, or electric mixer. Just make sure the mixture is light and
 smooth.

 Spread the walnuts into the unbaked crust. Pour the batter over the
 nuts and bake 30 minutes, or until solid. Serve warm or cold, with
 whipped cream or ice cream.
