MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Margaret's Masterpiece Chocolate Chip Cookies

     Yield: 60 Cookies

 2 1/4 c  All-purpose flour
     1 ts Baking soda
     1 ts Salt
     1 c  Unsalted butter; softened
   3/4 c  Sugar
   3/4 c  Brown sugar; packed
     1 ts Vanilla extract
     1 ts Water; cold
     2 lg Eggs
    24 oz Good quality chocolate chips
          -*
     1 c  Pecans; chopped (optional)

 * Ghiradelli 60% or Guittard or something on that order

 Preheat oven to 375°F.

 Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Beat butter,
 granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and water in a large
 mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after
 each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and
 nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

 Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets
 for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
