MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Oatmeal Molasses Crisps

     Yield: 170 servings

 2 1/2 c  Butter; softened
     5 c  Sugar
     4 lg Eggs; room temperature
   1/3 c  Dark molasses
     3 ts Vanilla extract
 4 1/3 c  A-P flour
     4 ts Baking powder
     3 ts Ground cinnamon
     2 ts Salt
     1 ts Baking soda
 4 3/4 c  Old-fashioned oats
     2 c  Pecans; fine chopped

 Set oven @ 375°F/190°C.

 In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy,
 5-7 minutes. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Beat in molasses and
 vanilla. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder,
 cinnamon, salt, and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture.
 Stir in oats and pecans.

 Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2" apart onto greased baking sheets.
 Bake until edges are firm, 10-12 minutes. Cool on pans 3 minutes.
 Remove to wire racks to cool.
