     Title: Patty Ann's Chocolate Diamonds
Categories: Christmas, Cookies
     Yield: 1 Batch

     1/2 c  Butter
       3    Squares unsweetened baking
            - chocolate
       1 c  Sugar
       2    Eggs
       1 c  Flour
       1 ts Vanilla extract
     2/3 c  Pecans -- chopped

 Oven 400°F.

 Grease 9x13x2" pan. Melt butter and chocolate. Stir in sugar. Add
 eggs and beat well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Bake at
 400°F for 15 minutes. Let cool in pan. Cut into diamonds.

 Store in tin box between layers of wax paper.
