MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Peach Pound Cake

     Yield: 16 Servings

     1 c  Butter; softened
     2 c  Sugar
     6 lg Eggs; room temperature
     1 ts Almond extract
     1 ts Vanilla extract
     3 c  A-P flour
   1/4 ts Baking soda
   1/4 ts Salt
   1/2 c  Sour cream
     2 c  Diced peaches; fresh or
          - frozen
          Whipped cream (optional)

 Set oven @ 350°F/175°C.

 Grease and flour a 10" fluted tube (bundt) pan. In a large bowl,
 cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5 to 7 minutes.
 Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in
 extracts. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; add to batter
 alternately with sour cream, beating well after each addition.
 Fold in peaches.

 Pour into prepared pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the
 center comes out clean, 60 to 70 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes
 before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. If
 desired, serve with whipped cream and additional peaches.
