     Title: Prune Cake

MMMMM----------------------------CAKE---------------------------------
     3    Eggs
 1 1/2 c  Sugar
     2 c  Flour
     1 c  Buttermilk
     1 c  Prunes; pitted, cooked
     1 c  Walnuts
     1 c  Vegetable oil
     1 ts Salt
     1 ts Soda
     1 ts Allspice
     1 ts Cinnamon
     1 ts Nutmeg
     1 ts Vanilla

MMMMM---------------------------ICING--------------------------------
     1 c  Sugar
   1/2 c  Buttermilk
   1/2 ts Soda
   1/3 c  Butter
     1 tb White syrup
   1/2 ts Vanilla

 Icing:

 Boil above ingredients until it forms a soft ball. Pour over cake
 immediately. Do not overcook. Begin making icing about 15 minutes
 before cake is done so it will be ready to pour over hot cake.

 Cake:

 Blend sugar and oil, add eggs and mix well. Sift all dry ingredients
 together and mix into batter, alternating with milk. Add prunes,
 nuts, and vanilla. Pour into an ungreased 9x13" pan. Bake for 1 hour
 at 325°F. Leave cake in pan and while still hot punch holes into
 cake with a fork.

 Punch holes entire length of fork tines. Pour the icing over
 immediately.
