MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Blueberry Lemon Cake
Categories: Five, Cakes, Fruits, Citrus
     Yield: 9 servings

   1/4 c  Butter; diced
   1/2 c  Sugar
     2 ts Lemon zest; grated, divided
     2 c  Blueberries
     9 oz Box yellow cake mix
          Whipped cream (optional)

 Set oven @ 350°F/175°C.

 In a small saucepan, melt butter; stir in sugar until dissolved.
 Add 1 ts lemon zest. Pour into a greased 8" square baking dish.
 Arrange blueberries in a single layer over top; set aside.

 Note: If using frozen blueberries, do not thaw.

 Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Stir in the
 remaining lemon zest. Carefully pour over blueberries.

 Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of cake comes out
 clean, 30-35 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Serve with whipped cream
 if desired.
