MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Easy Cherry Dump Cake

     Yield: 16 servings

    30 oz Can cherry pie filling
15 1/4 oz Box white cake mix
    12 tb Salted butter (6 oz);
          - melted
     1 ts Almond extract

 Set the oven @ 350°F/175°C.

 Spray an 8" square baking dish with cooking spray. Pour
 the cherry pie filling into the dish and spread evenly
 with a spatula.

 Add the bag of white cake mix on top of the filling and
 gently even it out with your hands.

 Combine the melted butter and almond extract. Pour the
 butter evenly over the cake mix. Put the baking dish in
 the oven and bake for 55 minutes. Once baked, remove the
 cake from the oven to cool slightly. Serve warm with
 vanilla ice cream.

 SLOW COOKER DIRECTIONS: Melt the butter and mix in the
 almond extract. Pour 1/2 cup butter into the bottom of a
 5 qt slow cooker. Top with cherry pie filling and cake
 mix, then drizzle the rest of the butter mixture over
 the cake mix. Cook, covered, for two hours on high.
