     Title: FRIENDSHIP CAKE

     3    Eggs
 2-1/2 c  Sugar
     1 ts Vanilla
     1 ts Orange flavoring
     1 ts Black walnut flavoring; or
          - butternut flavoring
     1 c  Oil
 3-1/2 c  Flour
     1 ts Baking soda
     1 ts Cinnamon
   1/2 ts Salt
     1 c  Flaked coconut
     1 c  Dates; chopped
 1-1/2 c  Brandied fruit from starter;

    Beat together eggs, sugar, vanilla, orange and butternut flavorings and
 oil.  Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Add 1/4 cup
 flour mixture to the coconut mixture and reserve fruit from fruit starter
 and mix well.  The batter will be stiff; it is too stiff to work, add more
 fruit or juice from the starter. Put into a greased and floured large tube
 or Bundt pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let cool in pan 15
 minutes before removing.
