3/4 c Butter; room temp
1 c Sugar; white
1 c Sugar; brown
4 lg Eggs
1/2 c Cocoa; unsweetened
1 1/2 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Herman Sourdough Starter
1 tb Vanilla
3/4 c Semisweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c Nuts; chopped
In bowl of electric mixer, cream butter and sugars.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
Stir dry ingredients together.
Combine starter and vanilla; add alternately with dry
ingredients to sugar mixture.
Spread in greased 11-1/2 x 7-1/2 x 1-1/2" pan.
Sprinkle chocolate and nuts on top. Bake in 350°F/175°C
oven 30 minutes.
