MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Skillet Herb Bread

     Yield: 10 Servings

 1 1/2 c  All-purpose flour
     2 tb Sugar
     4 ts Baking powder
 1 1/2 ts Salt
     1 ts Rubbed sage
     1 ts Dried thyme
 1 1/2 c  Yellow corn meal
 1 1/2 c  Celery; chopped
     1 c  Onion; chopped
     2 oz Jar chopped pimientos;
          - drained
     3 lg Eggs; room temperature,
          - beaten
 1 1/2 c  Milk
   1/3 c  Oil

 Set oven @ 400°F/205°C.

 In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt,
 sage, and thyme. Combine corn meal, celery, onion, and pimientos;
 add to dry ingredients and mix well. Add eggs, milk, and oil; stir
 just until moistened. Pour into a greased 10 or 11" ovenproof
 skillet. Bake until bread tests done, 35 to 45 minutes. Serve
 warm.
