10 oz Tofu
1/2 c Bread crumbs
1/3 c Walnuts; crushed
2 tb Fresh parsley;
- finely chopped
Salt and black pepper;
- to taste
1 tb Soy sauce
Flour; for coating
Oil; for deep frying
1/2 c Cheese; grated
Knead the tofu, bread crumbs, walnuts, parsley, salt, pepper, and soy
sauce together and roll the mixture into balls. Coat them with flour
and deep fry. Then place the balls in a shallow tray and cover them
with grated cheese. Just before serving, brown them under the grill.
Nice served with tomato sauce, especially an extra-spicy one.
