                            Spaghetti Sauce

  1      lb            Italian sausage
    3/4  c             Onion -- finely chopped
  6      oz            Tomato paste
 45      oz            Tomato sauce (3 cans)
  1      c             Water
  2      cl            Garlic -- chopped
  2                    Bay leaves
  1      tb            Sugar
  2      ts            Dried basil
  1      ts            Dried oregano
  2      tb            Fresh parsley -- chopped
  2      ts            Salt

Brown the sausage with the onion and drain. Add the rest of the
ingredients and simmer, partly covered, for 2 hours. Simmering can be
done in a crockpot, if desired. Freeze in separate containers for use
in the Cannelloni and for spaghetti.

When thawed, heat thoroughly and serve over 8 oz cooked spaghetti.
