1 lb Ground beef or lamb
3 Onions -- chopped
1/2 c Butter
1/2 c Tomato paste -- diluted in:
1 c Water -OR-
1 can Tomatoes drained
Garlic -- minced, to taste
6 oz Red wine
3 tb Parsley -- chopped
1 Bay leaf
Salt and pepper
Saute the onions in the butter and stir in the tomato paste or can
of tomatoes. Add the beef, and remaining ingredients and cover and
simmer 30 minutes. Serve over noodles, rice, or macaroni.
