MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Dolly Parton's Milk Gravy

     Yield: 6 Servings

   1/3 c  A-P flour
   1/4 ts Salt
   1/4 ts Dried thyme
   1/2 ts Fresh ground black pepper
 2 1/2 c  Whole milk
   1/2 c  Heavy whipping cream
          Buttermilk biscuits and
          - sausage patties; to serve

 In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, dried thyme and
 black pepper.

 Whisk in the whole milk and heavy cream. Continue to stir until the
 mixture is smooth.

 Pour the mixture into a skillet or large sauce pot and bring to a
 boil over medium heat. Cook, whisking continuously, for 2 minutes
 or until the gravy has thickened. Season to taste with additional
 salt and pepper if needed.

 Serve over freshly baked biscuits and sausage patties.
