1 cn (6 oz) tomato paste
3 1/2 cn Water
1 ts Dried oregano; (up to 1 tb)
1 ts Dried basil; (up to 1 tb)
1 ts Dried parsley; (up to 1 tb)
1 ts Garlic powder; (up to 1 tb)
1/2 ts Black pepper
1 pn Salt
1 cn (8 oz) tomato sauce

1 cn (14 oz) crushed or diced
-tomatoes (optional)
2 Cloves fresh garlic; minced,
-(optional)
About 2-3 hours before serving combine all, bring to a boil, reduce to
simmer and cook until desired thickness. May be cooked faster by
reducing amount of water but long, slow cooking, especially if meat
balls are in it gives it better flavor.
