MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.04

     Title: Onion Relish
Categories: Polkadot, Epona, Relishes, Onions
     Yield: 1 Servings

     1 lb Onions (I used Vidalias)
     2 tb Margarine
     2 tb Balsamic vinegar
     1 tb Sugar
   1/2 ts Salt
   1/4 ts Black pepper
     1 tb Extra virgin olive oil

 Slice onions into thin wedges and saute in margarine until brown
 (about 12 minutes).  Transfer to bowl of food processor and chop
 slightly. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.

 I served this, hot, over thinly sliced broiled flank steak, alongside
 corn on the cob and a salad.  The flavour combinations were
 interesting, but I think I'm going to decrease the amount of sugar
 next time, since the vinegar was so sweet on its own.
