     Title: Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding

     3 c  Milk
     3 lg Eggs
   1/2 ts Cinnamon
   1/2 ts Salt
   1/2    Lemon; juice of
     2 ts Vanilla extract
     3 tb Honey
     2 tb Brown sugar

MMMMM----------------------------DRY---------------------------------
     4 c  Bread; coarsely crumbled
 1 1/2 c  Apple; grated -AND/OR-
   1/2 c  Dried fruit; chopped
   1/2 c  Nuts; chopped; (optional)

MMMMM--------------------------TOPPINGS-------------------------------
          Heavy cream
          Ice cream
          Fresh fruit
          Applesauce

 This is good for using up old bread, or dried-out cake. You can use
 leftover banana bread, corn bread (plain, not the onion-cheese kind!),
 carrot cake, gingerbread--whatever lends itself to your taste.

 Pre-heat oven to 350 F.

 Beat liquid ingredients well together. You can use a blender.

 Mix together dry ingredients in a 9x13" baking pan.

 Pour the liquid mixture into the pan, and push everything around with
 a wooden spoon until it is uniformly combined.

 Bake 35 minutes. Serve hot, warm, or cold with your choice of
 toppings.
