                  Bread Pudding With Lemon Hard Sauce

  2      c             Milk
    1/2  c             Sugar
    1/2  c             Raisins
  2                    Eggs -- beaten
    1/4  c             Butter
    1/4  ts            Salt
  4      c             Bread crumbs
    1/2  ts            Nutmeg
                       Hard Sauce:
    1/2  c             Butter
  1 1/2  c             Sugar
  1      ts            Vanilla extract

Combine the butter, sugar, salt, and raisins with the milk. Heat to a
boil. Pour over bread crumbs. Allow to set for 5 minutes. Add the
eggs, nutmeg and mix well. Place into a buttered casserole. Bake at
350 F for 50 to 55 minutes. Serve with a Lemon Sauce or a Hard Sauce.

Hard Sauce:

Cream sauce ingredients together and beat until fluffy.
